About Us

     Jason and Anna Oney are a married couple with one son, three dogs, and a cat who are just trying to navigate life together! 

     When they began dating back in 2018, they discovered fairly quickly that they both enjoyed cooking.  Anna was a much better cook than Jason, but he didn’t mind just hanging out with her in the kitchen helping her with whatever she needed and mixing cocktails.  She was the chef, and he was the bartender/dishwasher/taste tester.  Over the years they have each honed their skills.  Anna has developed and tweaked so many more dishes than she made back in 2018, and Jason can scrub pots with the best of them!  Just kidding.  Jason has also improved over the years, both as a home bartender and as a cook, especially when it comes to the grill and smoker on the back deck. Neither one of them are good at everything, but together they make a dang good team!

      They had aspirations of a food catering or food truck business one day, but with life the way it is right now this seemed like the better option for sharing their joy of cooking with the world.  Inside this blog you’ll find recipes from their home kitchen, bar, and grill.  These are the recipes they use when preparing their own breakfasts, lunches, and dinners.  They use these same recipes for friends and family.  You’ll find quick meals, fancy meals, sides, and appetizers.  You’ll find recipes for the stove top, oven, smoker, grill, crockpot, flat top, and bar top.
